Things to Do in Midtown West, New York
Home to some of the most iconic buildings and skyscrapers like the Empire State Building, the headquarters of the United Nations and the Chrysler Building, Midtown West stands for the lengthwise portion of the borough and island of Manhattan in New York City. It stretches from 30th Street to 59th Street on the West Side of Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The biggest central business district, it also contains the famous commercial zones such as Broadway, Rockefeller Center and Times Square. This neighbourhood is famous for its famous architecture and houses several niche and hotspot destinations like Koreatown.
Midtown is surrounded by Times Square, Theatre District, Roosevelt Island, Chelsea, Kips Bay, Midtown East, Murray Hill and Hell’s Kitchen.
You can reach here in 30 minutes by cab from JFK Airport and in 20 minutes from Laguardia. The Financial District, Wall Street is 22 minutes by subway.
