KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hire, develop and retain a local team in the tri-state NYC area initially and possibly expanding nationwide down the road
  • Responsible for maintaining supplier relationships and sourcing & nurturing new relationships
  • This role is a PL leadership role, so you will be responsible for the North America P&L. 
  • Drive revenue and market share quarterly and achieving our growth objectives

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of work experience including Sales, professional services, property and operations management.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing a team and ownership of a profit centre. 
  • A strong sense of ethics and integrity.
  • A passion for technology and innovation and a desire to help remove friction and improve customer experience in our industry using cutting edge technology. 
  • Past experience as a GM or as a Senior Sales Manager of a corporate housing company desirable

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for the relationship, development and performance of multiple clients or projects allocated to the role, in line with revenue generating goals and KPIs.

 

The position will work closely with the Head of Reservations, and with other Thesqua.re internal groups, such as Account Managers, Sales Managers, Guest Service Managers, Market Reservations/Inventory Specialists, Supply Management, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Revenue Management, Account Management and Business Development departments to reinforce the relationship, terms of contract, interface with Client teams for relationship development and issue resolution on a daily basis.

This position requires a customer service focused person with technical knowledge to ensure revenue growth, and the authority to resolve issues. Major focus of the position is to saturate any opportunities for additional revenue growth and bring them forward to the organization for decision-making.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Adhere, lead and oversee compliance for all client contractual obligations (Service Level Agreements, Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work etc.)

  • Investigate, track and resolve customer and client concerns; identify trends and implement solutions.

Job Description:

  • Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting. 
  • Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends. 
  • Provide weekly dynamic forecasts of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.
  • Manage and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution 
  • Ensure all OTAs and Social Media Portals are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity.

Shift: You will be part of a 24/7 team and mainly you will work following GMT hours . Your shift patterns will be around 12pm to 11pm  with some shift in the morning if needed by the business

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  1. Mimimum 5 years of experience in Revenue Management, managing OTAs, competitive benchmarking, competitive pricing (Preferably from Travel/ Hospitality sector)
  2. Preference for someone having prior experience in handling reservations and guest bookings
