Casual Drinks, Liverpool St

I'm looking for great places to take clients on a casual drink but don't want to break the bank! Does anywhere know of pubs that serve pints at reasonable prices in Liverpool St?

Liverpool street is a great area to take out clients or even friends for a few rounds. Everyone has been in the situation where you have a great time, several rounds are had and when you receive the bill at the end of the night, your jaw drops and your bank balance is severely injured. To avoid this common problem, it wouldn’t hurt to do a bit of background research on the Liverpool street area and find a few great and inexpensive bars. Here are the best bars in Liverpool Street that won’t break the bank:

  • WM Barker & Co: This is a slightly hidden bar that not everyone knows of in the city. The furniture is eclectic and includes a variety of comfy armchairs.
  • Mint Leaf Lounge: Located next to the Bank of England, this is a great Indian restaurant that specializes in great cocktails.
  • Searcys at the Gherkin: Located at the very top of the iconic Gherkin building, this bar offers stunning views. Spread out over the top three floors of the Gherkin, this is the bar to go to when you want to impress some clients.
  • Simmons Liverpool Street: Pretty interiors and an awesome happy hour that runs from 3-8 pm. Located just off Bishopsgate, this 2 storey venue is a great place to take clients for a drinks in colourful surroundings with plenty of character. The downstairs area can also be hired for private events.
