Christmas is a wonderful time of year to be in London, where the city is full of christmas markets and festive cheer.

  • Winter Wonderland: Held in Hyde Park, this annual festival is a must go-to event whether you live in London or whether you are simply visiting. There are fun rides, plenty of mulled wine, christmas stalls, cocktails at popup bars, waffles and more.
  • Wintertime at Southbank Centre: Southbank Centre is a beautiful place to walk around in at any point of time during the year but over Christmas, it is a must to visit this beautiful market. The whole area around the Thames is lit up with fairy lights, pop-up shops, winter activities and all types of Christmas fun to make your festive season a great one.
  • Winterville: This Christmas market has great street food, several performances, christmas special film screenings, market stalls and loads more fun at London’s most eccentric Christmas village. It moved from east London to Clapham Common in winter 2017.
