Festivals in London-August and September

I need a little list of events and festivals happening in London in August and September, just to be ready ahead of my visit to the city next week. Can anyone help?

Oh hey Eugine.  Plenty of exciting things are happening in the city right now. Looks like you might just be in time for the following events:
Film4 Summer Screen in Somerset House-dates 9th-22nd August
Notting Hill Carnival-from 27th-28th August
Ladbrokes Cup Challenge-that’s an event for the Rugby fans-on 26th Aug
Kids Week-it will be on till 31st August. The best place for children to catch their favourite shows presented by the London Theatre.

Buckingham Palace Tour:Summer opening. Till September 30.
DC Exhibition- It's the Dawn of the Super Heroes at the O2. It will run till the end of September.
Les Miserables:The Musical at Queen's Theatre
The Luna Cinema Film festival at Hampton Court palace.
The Underbelly Festival in South Bank- a range of family shows, Comedy lineups, Live acts, circus, cabaret, and of course children's shows. It is going on right now and will be on till 30th September.
