Hi Leo, Canary Wharf is a business district. Major bank and other financial institutions have offices here.

Will you be working at any place in Canary Wharf or any area nearby? It is a great place to stay in. There are plenty of local attractions you can visit in and around Canary Wharf. The Clipper service is great around here. It will take you to London Tower in minutes. You can also reach London Bridge which is another convenient as well as scenic form of travel.

Canary Wharf is in the East end of London. It is more than just a financial hub. More than 300 shops, bars and restaurants are situated in the town. Round the year arts and cultural events keep the tourists and locals engaged.

There are some great tourist spots to visit here. The Museum of London Docklands is a national treasure often missed by the people here. The Crossrail Place Roof Garden is another beautiful eyegasmic treat in the form of a Botanical Garden.

Canary Wharf is just 10 minutes from London Bridge and another 10 minutes from Bond Street. If that point clicks for you, then you can try Canary Wharf for sure. Being a financial hub there is very little to do here sometimes but it is a peaceful place. I have been living here for 3 years. Never had anything to complain about.

I have been a regular visitor to the Fisherman’s Walk for grabbing a drink. The Cat and the Canary is a happening place for beer and sports. Fine Line is another great riverside wine pub.

If you can, then try finding a great spot somewhere near the Jubilee Line tube station in Canary Wharf. That ways you will be just minutes away from all major tourist spots in London.

Canary Wharf is a modern purpose commercial and banking district. Are you a first time visitor here? If you find a good deal on accommodation here, then it’s an unbeatable place.
