1 Bedroom Apartment at 62nd Street in Midtown East

Very good, 4.2 from 5 reviews

Midtown East , New York

A neat 1 bedroom apartment on the first floor of a classic warehouse style brownstone building. With retail spots the width of the ground floor level and iron fire escapes with gooseneck ladders at the ready, staying here is a quintessential NYC experience.

The apartment is split into two functions. Enter the apartment into the open plan kitchen and lounge room with a sofa bed that can sleep a further 2 guests. Golden polished hardwood floors and a neutral palette has been applied through creating a tasteful and unfussy environment.

In the generously sized bedroom the comfortable double bed is on a frame allowing plenty of space to pop your suitcase below. This room also has a high line coffee table and stools for two, two windows, a chest of drawers, TV and a linen cupboard. The ensuite also leads straight from the bedroom. It has a modern white suite and a small window.

Straddling the borders of the Plaza District, Sutton Place and Midtown East you really are in the thick of it. Crowd-pleasing retail giants Bergdorf Goodman, Bed Bath & Beyond, Dylan’s Candy Bar, the Apple store on 5th Avenue and FAO Schwartz are just minutes away. And of course Midtown A-listers Times Square, Rockefeller Centre and Central Park are in close proximity.

Just weeks after Times Square’s very own Subway Station opened in April 1904, the first electrified advertisement appeared. Today, though bulbs have largely been replaced with HD screens; Times Square is a sight to behold. The Rockefeller Centre adds 14 original Art Deco constructions to the mix and Radio City Music hall, painstakingly restored in 1999 is considered to be one of the world’s greatest Art Deco interiors.

Midtown’s foodie scene doesn’t seem to be slowing with memorable fine-dining options as well as more casual affairs each bursting with personality. Head West to Hell’s Kitchen for excellent global delights on a budget and cocktail bars electric with conversation

Really enjoyed my time here. Highly recommend this property.

This 1 bedroom apartment in Lenox Hill was great. I enjoyed cooking in the open plan kitchen and the area was nice as well with several green lined streets surrounding the house which in itself was set in a brownstone building. Very stylish fully equipped kitchen. Fast Wi-Fi and plenty of storage space throughout the apartment.

The rooms were all fairly large and the decor was great. The linen was crisp, the kitchen was well equipped and great for cooking meals. The Wifi was very fast and the property was within walking distance of several bars, cafes and shops.

Very bright 1 bedroom apartment, I stayed here for 3 days and all the amenities provided made my stay as seamless as possible. The fully equipped kitchen, high speed wifi and more than enough storage space made this apartment a great place to stay for a short trip to NYC.

I enjoyed staying in a classic warehouse style brownstone building. This one-bedroom apartment is spacious enough for three people. Kitchen is small but is equipped with all utensils. I liked the location as Midtown East is centrally situated that made it easy for us to explore the city.
