Midtown west

2 bedroom apartment at west 53rd street, midtown west

86th Street – Broadway
Nearest station

A stunning 2 bedroom duplex apartment over two floors in the heart of Midtown West. This superb residence has a private sun deck making it irresistible and unforgettable. It is a brand new development within a purpose built boutique building. No detail has been considered too small in achieving an exquisite standard in relation to the layout, the finishes and the furnishings.

The beautiful first bedroom is elegantly dressed with a nice size window. The open plan communal area is really spacious and is flooded with light from the huge windows. In the lounge area, the deep sofa opens up into a double bed. A wee dining table for two sits pettily between the kitchen and the lounge.

The one-sided kitchen is bold and practical. Every inch has been utilised and so the space feels more than adequate and the aesthetics exceed expectations. Similarly in the bathroom, the materials and overall finish cannot help but impress

Area info

Manhattans West Siders are infamously passionate about food. This is only further encouraged by the breadth of options of offer, the length of the Park. Dive into top-quality global cuisine represented across town. You’ll find delicate tapas bars and Michelin stars on the upper levels of the Time Warner Centre at Columbus Circle. For a special occasion why not book a table over-looking Central Park, in the Terrace at Jean-Georges, the epitome of fine dining combining French, American and Asian influences.

For a relaxed meal in a very local setting visit Barney Greengrass, an institution open since 1908 and little-changed since. We love Peacefood Café for its inventive vegan friendly menu. Head South to explore the hip budget eateries and colourful cocktail bars of Hell’s Kitchen or North for Harlem’s soul-food and African markets.

Giant crowd pleasers Bergdorf Goodman, Bed Bath & Beyond, Dylan’s Candy Bar, the Apple store on 5th Avenue and FAO Schwartz are just minutes away. And of course Midtown A-listers Times Square, Rockefeller Centre and Central Park are in close proximity.

Overall a great place that would definitely stay at again. If I was forced to pick a downside I would suggest some sound dampening in the hallways, maybe carpeting, etc... the noise really carries due to concrete floors etc and not much door insulation so were woken by late night revellers most nights but it is NYC, I think we were the revellers at least one night :)
