2 Bedroom Apartment in Park Slope, Brooklyn

Description

This beautiful, expansive 3-story home in Brooklyn’s Park Slope is a delightful property. An historic brownstone walk-up on an attractive tree-lined street that encourages a real sense of community. It sleeps up to six in two double bedrooms and an optional double futon in the first floor sitting room.

The ground floor is reserved for the primary communal areas. A stunning lounge with decorative fireplace, parquet flooring, piano and views out through large windows onto the attractive street is ideal for entertaining. Tastefully dressed it exudes old-world charm.

A cosy breakfast bar sitting four, separates a more informal lounge from the large kitchen. It has all mod-cons and tons of natural light through the floor-to-ceiling windows. And through the Patio door you can access the impressive floral sun deck. A private elevated terrace surrounded by foliage with a convivial informal dining space for up to eight guests.

Up on the first floor you’ll find the first bedroom with a queen size four-poster bed and floor-to-ceiling windows, a bathroom and the informal sitting room with plenty of cosy seating. On the top floor is the second bedroom, second bathroom and laundry room.

Area info

Park Slope is one of Brooklyn’s friendliest neighbourhoods. Young professionals and families call this colourful town home, and extend a warm welcome to visitors old and new. Symmetrical tree-lined avenues with rows of superbly maintained walk-up brownstone dwellings are the absolute norm. The main streets are multi-coloured with natty shop fronts presenting vintage clothes shops and independent book shops.

Transport connections are super. Hop on the subway at 7th Avenue for Manhattan’s Financial District and Midtown. Atlantic Terminal train station will take you across the State and beyond.

Beautiful Prospect Park is a Brooklyn favourite designed by the architect that designed Central Park. The zoo, botanical gardens and Brooklyn museum are fun ways to spend a Sunday, and musical concerts are hosted here during the summer months. Park Slope’s organic food market sells flowers, veggies, herbs and sweet treats and attracts New Yorkers from all over. Pick up everything you might need to assemble your own culinary creation back at the apartment.
