Description

Those attracted to charming architectural details like exposed brick walls, decorative fireplaces and high ceilings, you will find much to admire with these fully furnished studio units. These apartments are located on East 59th Street between First and Second Avenues reflect Sutton Place charm. Your apartment is accessible by stairs and is convenient to laundries and dry cleaners within the surrounding block. Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchenette and marble bathroom, perfect for relaxation after a busy day. Sutton Place is perhaps the most upscale neighborhood in all of Manhattan. It covers a small area stretching only blocks from 53rd Street to 59th Street, between the East River to Second Avenue. There is a good deal of prestige that comes from having a Sutton Place Address. A world apart, yet only blocks away from midtown Manhattan, Sutton Place itself is in walking distance to grocers, banks, dry cleaners, bakeries, Korean fruit markets, nail salons and news-stands along with highly rated restaurants such as Jubilee and Le Perigord. Sutton Place is mentioned in the J.D. Salinger novel, Catcher in the Rye, and was featured in the 1953 film How to Marry a Millionaire starring Marilyn Monroe. The characters in several of Mary Higgins Clark's novels occasionally dined at Neary's, a genuine Irish bar and restaurant located on East 57th Street off Sutton Place South.

Have stayed here a million times. I like the place, it is near a lot of restaurants and shopping areas.

For a cramped up NYC, where available space is getting costlier by the day. This apartment comes as a great surprise. The room is large and airy with a comfortable bed and cosy furniture. I had a good time staying here.

The apartment sits right between the Midtown and Uptown Manhattan.
