Abington Park

Northampton’s oldest and most popular park, it contains many great features like the Abington Park Museum, sports facilities, two lakes and the archeological remains of a medieval village (underneath your feet). Breathtaking views and fresh air make this the ideal break spot from the office meetings and crowds.

Delapre Abbey

Over 900 years old, the Delapre Abbey has seen wars and many events in history sweep by. Recently renovated and restored after a period of dilapidation, the Abbey is a centrepiece of history, culture and entertainment. The gardens offer scrumptious views and the cafe enables you to take a slice of history on the side when downing your afternoon coffee. Don’t forget to go the the Billiard Room and other sections of the Abbey before you go.

All Saints Church

Present in Northampton since the medieval times, the Grade I listed All Saints Church is open for worshippers and visitors who want to look around the exquisite architecture. If you’ve had a busy day or are taking a quiet stroll then you should pay All Saints a visit. Its serene surroundings and disposition make it ideal to clear your head.  

Northampton and Lamport Railway

Five miles outside Northampton lies this beautiful and vintage steam and diesel railway. The perfect day out if you want a trip back in time, the heritage railway enables you to take a ride or walk beside the tracks and watch the trains in action. Bear in mind that it’s closed November, January and February.
