Both the neighbourhoods are well-served by great public transportation network but best connected by metros. To access Louvre, get off at at Louvre-Rivoli or Palais Royale-Musée du Louvre in line 1. The stop will take you right to the museum. From here, you can also head directly to the Tuileries Gardens. To reach the Obelisque and the western edge of the Tuileries board Concorde (line 1, 8 & 12). You can also conveniently access Les Halles as mostly all Metro lines and trains stop at Chatelet, Thus, the neighbourhood is the largest hub in Paris. If you travel by metro, Charles de Gaulle airport is about 45 min away and Orly airport 50 min.
