1 bedroom apartment in Latin Quarter

Very good, 4.0 from 2 reviews

Latin Quarter , Paris

This charming conversion overlooking the stained glass of the church of Saint-Séverin is brimming with original features and homely touches. Chunky wooden beams and rustic floor tiles are brought right up to date with sumptuous fabrics and eclectic lighting solutions.

Tucked away on the 4th floor of an 18th Century building on rue Saint-Séverin you’re able to dip in and out of the lively bustle of the streets below at your leisure. The impressive living area of this apartment is seriously spacious. Dining for six is open-plan but separate from the convivial lounge around a renovated fireplace. There is very comfortable and independent desk space in the room ideal for working from home.

The breakfast bar for two looks into the sleek kitchen which can be left open-plan or made separate with a screen.

The main bedroom is bijou in duck-egg blue with a queen bed and built-in wardrobes. An additional single bed and the sofa bed (which opens into a double) can sleep up to five.

This location is really second-to-none. Here you’re on the borders of fashionable Saint Germain with obscure international filmhouses and theatres that pre-date Louis XIV and the lively Latin Quarter with specialist wine bars and delicious and affordable brasseries.

Being on the banks of the Seine you can meander over the bridge to Cité and St. Louis islands for striking examples of gothic, art nouveau and classical architecture. These tiny islands floating between the Left and Right banks of Paris are home to candle-lit bistros, local boulangeries and book shops to explore. A stroll around the islands at dusk is undeniably romantic, perhaps due to the associated tales of medieval Notre-Dame.

Continue across the river to Le Rive Gauche and an intensely beautified portion of Paris comprising of regal squares and perfectly manicured gardens. Here you’ll find the Louvre one of Europe’s most celebrated galleries home to the Mona Lisa and innumerable other aesthetic distractions.

My new favourite place in Paris is this cozy cute apartment in Latin Quarter. It was complete homely feel. Loved the views from the living area. Location was great. Enjoyed eating out in the nearby local restaurants and tube station are also located closely. A great experience staying in this beautiful apartment.
