Area info

The Rue Montorgueil neighbourhood is a vibrant pedestrian area in the heart of Paris. Some of the city's best produce, such as meat and fish markets, can be found here. Renowned pastry shops are also plentiful, like La MaisonStohrer which is one of the oldest bakeries in Paris, established in 1730. There are also cosy bistros, boutiques, and bars diverse enough to please hipsters and traditionalists alike.

At the southern tip of Rue Montorgueil is the historic Saint-Eustache Church, which is well worth a visit for those interested in local history, yet who want to avoid the queues of some of the more famous landmarks. Les Halles is also a nearby point of interest, containing the largest indoor, and mostly underground, shopping mall in central Paris.

For those in serch of some fine dining, this area does not disappoint. L’Escargot, established in 1875 is located nearby, specializing in classic French cuisine and Au Rocher de Cancale is also found in this district – both famous for their exquisite fare for those seeking something a bit special.

This district shows how even the busy centre of Paris reserves village-like nooks if only you know the right areas to explore. It also gives a picture of how Paris manages to be resolutely modern while preserving a rich heritage through its architecture, shops and philosophy.Top of Form

This place is everything you expect of a Paris flat in the heart of the city. Amazing location, terrific apartment. Clean, complete, spacious, with all you need. Highly recommended!

Spotty Wi-Fi connectivity From a cool kitchen, the iron-board along with iron to the dishwasher along with the neat and clean bed-linen and furnishings, this apartment seemed to be a nice place in a new city. Everything was good except the Wi-Fi. Before I got the keys, I was told about all the features and a high-speed internet connection was something I was looking for. When I got the chance to google few good restaurants, the connectivity was a tad disappointing. If I rule out the internet connectivity part, it was a fine-stay.

Nice apartment The apartment was very well kept with all the said amenities. For me and my friends, it was a lovely stay from where we were able to visit Saint-Eustache Church and Les Halles, and did a lot of shopping (which it is quite famous of). I would like to thank thesqua.re for the exceptional stay that we had.
