Up on the 3rd floor of a traditional 19th Century building with a lift, this lovely two bedroom serviced apartment with modern facilities and a classical twist is located in an enviable part of Paris. This prime spot on leafy, tree-lined Avenue de la Motte-Picquet is just moments from the historic Invalides region of the 7th Arrondissement of Paris. Considered by many as the heart of Paris and desirable due to its proximity to the iconic Eiffel Tower, the cobbled streets and candle-lit bistros of Paris’ 7th District are quintessentially Parisian and create a village-y feel.

The apartment boasts beautiful warm parquet floors and high ceilings throughout. The main living room is spacious and comfortable with a deep, cosy sofa, five Empire style armchairs, two pretty French windows with Juliet balconies and white shutters overlooking a quaint courtyard. There is also a small reading room with a large bright sofa that leads on to the first bedroom. Both bedrooms have a double bed, built-in closet space and French style windows with classical fabrics and upholstery.

The quirky bathroom has modern chrome and glass fixtures, spotlights above a huge mirror and a heated towel-rail. The charming kitchen is bright with chunky rustic wooden worktops and high-gloss duck-egg cabinets. The window in the kitchen also looks out to the courtyard.

Nestled perfectly between the stunning grounds of Hôtel des Invalides and star of the silver screen the Champ de Mars Gardens, a stroll around the locale of the 7th Arrondissement will be peppered with architectural delights and colourful street markets. You can be in fashionable Saint-Germain in 15 minutes on foot where you’ll discover modern ateliers, couture fashion and bijou cafes.

Fluffy towels, luxurious linens, high-speed wi-fi, cable TV and unlimited calls to over 30 countries are included in the rental price. Additional charges may apply for late check-in/out.

The 7th Arrondissement of Paris is attractive, understated and manages to pull-off ‘provincial’ fairly convincingly, despite its Global appeal. Chic and peaceful, with plenty of green space the district is hugely popular with locals and visitors alike. Invalides is a momentous day out. Witness Napoléon Bonaparte’s final resting place inside the beautiful Dome Church and explore the WWI and WWII wings of the Musée de l’Armée where you’ll find a scale model of a WWI trench and sobering plaster casts of mutilated soldiers. Of course the Hôtel des Invalides (which is still in part a working hospital) was originally commissioned by Louis 14th as a hospital for wounded soldiers.

Head West for the Champ de Mars Gardens and the glorious Eiffel Tower. Built in 1889 as part of the World Exhibition its art nouveau style was the subject of much debate. Today it is the pride and joy of Paris demonstrated after dark when, every hour it sparkles and fizzes with lights – a sight not to be missed. On Sundays bicycles and rollerskates are permitted in all parks along the River Seine, so hire some wheels and enjoy the ride.

Get distracted in nearby Saint-Germain’s underground Jazz caverns, corner cafes with enormous terraces and wine bars that never sleep. We recommend Chez Georges for its diverse crowds and La Compagnie des VinsSurnaturels for its 3,000 strong wine list. Stroll the lengths of Rue de Seine and Rue de Buci for independent art galleries and technicoloured market stalls.

Elegant apartment with modern amenities. Spacious and tidy. Kitchen is small by had all the kitchen utensils that made cooking really a fun activity rather than tiring. You can choose this apartment if you are looking for lavish and comfortable homestay in the heart of Paris city.

We stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks and enjoyed it. The apartment was colourful, decorated and clean. The linen and towels were regularly changed and room service was also done timely. The small kitchen has all the utensils we required. I loved cooking my own food I a French Capital. Would love to come back again.
