This beautiful apartment is located on the second floor of a stunning nineteenth century building that is steeped in character. With convenient elevator access (something the historic inhabitants of this property wouldn’t have had!) five people can comfortably make this their home during a stay in the French capital. The ornate, redbrick exterior is a reminder of a glorious chapter of France’s rich history; with this address, you’ll soon feel like donning your top hat or ball-gown!

The bright and spacious living room offers modern and tasteful furniture, which contrasts elegantly with the original features of the property. The wrought iron balconies and wood panelled floors, offer a reminder of the building’s grand past. Traditional full-length windows allow plenty of natural light into the lounge and the balconies overlook the quiet street below. The room has a large flat screen TV with satellite and two comfy sofas, one of which turns into a sofa bed, so you can kick back and relax during your down time. The apartment is generously decorated with striking art pieces; it’s like having your own gallery at home!

The dining room leads on from the lounge and is conveniently equipped with a dining table and six chairs to enjoy home-cooked family dinners or perhaps an evening of good French wine and games! The stacked bookshelves and glowing lamps offer a homely, cosy ambience that will soon make this residence your home from home. The kitchen is bijou but well-equipped with utensils and white goods, including a dishwasher, so whether you’re just grabbing breakfast on the go or cooking up a storm, you’ll find what you need.

The bathroom is also fully equipped for your convenience with both a bathtub and a shower and tiled with a modern, turquoise finish. Both bedrooms are beautifully cosy; one is a sweet twin room whilst the other is a country-style double. The pastel colours and antique-style furniture offer tranquillity that might have you fooled you’re actually in the French countryside! Bed linens, towels and professional cleaning services, before and after your stay, are all included in the rent. High speed Wi-Fi and unlimited calls to many countries are also complementary for our guests’ use.

Area info

The Marais is one of the oldest and most beautiful Paris neighbourhoods. From its narrow winding streets to its wide open squares, from its crooked Medieval buildings togrand Renaissance-era residences, the Marais gives more than a glimpse intothe different ages this city has seen. Here, visitors can understand what Paris was like before the architect Haussmann remodelled and modernized large sections of the city in the mid-19th century. In the same way, the Marais also represents contemporary Paris at its most exciting: some of the city's most up-and-coming galleries, fashion houses and home decor boutiques can be found here. This district is the perfect blend of several different communities, including the Parisian gay scene and traditional Jewish quarter. There isalso a large presence of arty types who crowd cafe terraces and bustling bars, making the Marais one of Paris' most eclectic and fascinating spots to people watch.

The famous and picturesque Place des Vosges, was established in the early seventeenth century and is located just around the corner from this vibrant district. A little further down the street from your apartment you will find the heart of the Marais, which will delight visitors with its various designer shops, fine food halls and of course countless typically French bistros and cafés.

Staff was a bit late and but he explained everything very nicely. Except the heating problem in the room, all the arrangements were good. All queries were well address. Thanks to the team.

Inspired by nature Being a fan of nature, I have it in me that the closer I can be with nature, the happier and comfortable I feel at a place. So, when I got to chance to visit Paris with my family, I wanted to choose something like this only, where I can get plenty of natural light along with the other facilities. My family was in awe of the modern furnishings, and the super-deluxe kitchen. I would give full marks to for providing us the best hospitality!

An instant connect That vintage feeling of staying in this apartment is something I still cannot forget! While I was holidaying with my girlfriend in Paris, we stayed at this apartment for a week. We had discussed a lot on what kind of stay we wanted, i.e., a small rented place, but the moment we saw this place, we instantly fell in love.
