A huge recently renovated serviced apartment in the 9th Arrondissement. High ceilings, large windows with Juliet balconies and Parisian shutters, ornate cornicing and classic wall panels tell the stories of this apartment’s past while the polished wooden floors, modern furnishings, original artwork and high-spec fittings bring the space bang up to date.

Simultaneously charming and contemporary; this apartment on the fourth floor of a pretty Haussmann building is super secure and full of surprises. You enter the apartment into the impeccable black and white kitchen with black American style fridge freezer, chrome hood over slick new gas hobs, glistening white unit doors and glorious granite work top curving into a breakfast bar with three Perspex stools. The large windows flood the room with natural light by day and by night strategic spotlights keep the area softly lit.

Through the dramatic double doors you’ll discover the dining room. Here you’ll spot the long balcony that extends the full length of the apartment. Two huge French windows open up to this ornate balcony enjoying views of the Haussmann rooftops and balconies of your neighbours. You’ll also see the first of the bold and passionate original paintings on display in this apartment. All pieces on display are by local artist Delphine Epron and are available to buy. The convivial round dining table seats six guests and the room is finished with stylish walnut furniture.

Through more opulent double doors and you’re in the stylish lounge room with plush sofa and four armchairs and a kind of film-noire cinema style around a modern coffee table. Two more beautiful French windows allow the natural light to bounce around the room finished with a decorative fireplace and walnut bookcase.

The first bedroom has a queen size bed, full-length mirrored wardrobes, a writing table and an ensuite with a bathtub and a walk-in shower with monsoon shower head. The second bedroom has two single beds that can combine to create a king size bed. It also has a full-length mirrored wardrobe, writing table, armchair and ensuite with walk-in shower. The third bedroom has two single beds that can combine to become one king size bed, a bureau and its two large windows also open on to the external balcony. This room has access to the third bathroom via the corridor which features a walk-in shower.

Based in Paris’ 9th district or 9th Arrondissement with pretty Montmartre to the North, quirky Le Marais to the East and fashionable Saint-Germain to the South this is an incredible location. Stunning Grand Palais is not far; opened in 1900 for the Universal Exhibitionits unique ‘H’ shape and ornate glass roof (the largest of its kind in Europe) make it easily identifiable from a distance. Inside you’ll find a restaurant, the Galeriesnationales andPalais de la Découverte (an interactive science museum). Its abundant opulence and style makes it a favourite of Chanel couture fashion shows. Walk across Place de la Concorde; one of Haussmann’s many architectural successes and the location of the crescendo of the revolution. Stroll through the Jardin de Tuilleries and you’ll arrive at the Musée du Louvre.
