Bastille is probably still best known for the storming of its prison on the afternoon of 14th July 1789 during the French Revolution. Nowadays it’s a popular neighbourhood, centred on the Boulevard Beaumarchais that links it to Republique and which is packed full of concept stores, restaurants, bars, food markets, and a youthful spirit. The area is also home to a fabulous modern opera house (opened in 1989) renowned for its fantastic acoustics and world-class productions, and which is home to the Paris National Opera no less. It's got lots to offer in its own right, but it also works well as a base for exploring the charms of nearby Le Marais.

Cancellation Policy
- 28 days notice is required to cancel your booking prior to arrival.
- This is for all lengths of stay in order to avoid charges.
- For guest in house 14 days notice is required to shorten or extend their stay/booking.
- Example: If a guest is checking in on the 17th September then gives notice on the 9th September, then 9 days notice has been given and a charge for 19 nights will be applied.
- All cancellations or extension requests must be made in writing via email.
- Group Bookings cancellation policy may vary.
