HIGHLIGHTING THE FRENCH CHARM IN MARAIS
This Short-term rental in the Marais is surrounded by streets full of history. The district itself, which bears the name of Marais since the Middle Ages, knew its zenith in the seventeenth century. Starting from the construction of Place Royale in 1605, the neighborhood was highly prized by the aristocracy, which built many private mansions, such as the Hotel Liberal-Bruant.
Another of these sumptuous mansions, the Hotel de Donon, now houses the Cognacq-Jay Museum. The museum is entirely dedicated to the eighteenth century: it contains all the arts of its time, paintings, sculptures, decorative arts and furniture, as well as miniature and decorative antique boxes. The collections of the museum bring together more recent acquisitions around the original collection of Ernest Cognacq and his wife Marie-Louise Jaÿ, founders of the department store La Samaritaine.
Le Marais is renowned for its designer boutiques. Far from limiting themselves to fashion clothing alone, these creators excel in other fields, such as the young French watchmaking company Charlie Watch, which offers watches designed and assembled in Paris a few steps from this Short-term rental in the Marais.
Rue des Archives, another designer, Etienne de Swardt, a perfumer. After working for big perfume brands, he founded his own perfumery, Etat libre d’Orange, in order to finally give free rein to his creativity, around original and unique scents.
Continuing our shopping, at 41, rue de Bretagne, at Jean Paul Hévin Chocolatier, Best Worker of France whose subtle creations are prized as far as Asia.

We enter this Short-term rental in the Marais throught a typical door of old Parisian buildings. From the corridor of the entrance, one immediately accesses the shower room on the left. Its spacious shower cubicle has two adjustable shower heads, a classic shower hose and a large diameter shower head.
At the end of the corridor, still on the left, there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom, also equipped with two shower heads. The two rooms have a sober romantic ambiance, perfect for rest and relaxation.
On the right at the end of the corridor is the comfortable living space with its kitchen corner. Spacious and open, this room is ideal for reunion with friends: the large sofa, armchairs and large dining table will encourage friendly exchanges. The fully equipped kitchen area allows to separate the living room from the corridor to preserve its harmonious feel. Finally, at the end of the living room the third double bedroom is found, spacious and comfortable with its large window.
The decor of this Short-term rental in the Marais favors a sleek yet dynamic modernism, the white walls highlight paintings and brightly colored objects, while in the bedrooms the black and white photos of flowers or grasses (By Steven N Meyers) suggest a refined discretion.
