This apartment is what the French call un atelier d’artiste because of its huge windows. Located in an art deco building from the 1930s, you have your choice of two elevators taking you up to this stunning 4th European floor apartment. Recently renovated, the apartment is stylish and cozy at the same time. When you walk in, you'll see the mixture of sophistication and a warm country style. The enormous windows overlook Paris, where you can see the Eiffel Tower and even Sacré Coeur from the kitchen window. It’s homey, with parquet floors, and many early 20th century paintings, mostly scenes of Paris, hanging from the cream-colored walls. The couch, upholstered with a Persian kilim print, and two plump leather chairs are set back where the ceiling is slightly lower. Six spotlights built into the ceiling give a warm glow to the room. You’ll notice unusual pieces of furniture and artwork, exotic touches from around the world that enhance the atmosphere of the apartment.
Next to the immense window is a round wooden dining table. Here the ceilings reach all the way to the top of the upper level of the apartment.

Near the dining table, separated by a grey-topped counter and two stools, is a wonderful new kitchen, which makes a sort of half-circle. The sink has a window above it, offering a delightful view over Paris rooftops while you wash up. It’s perfectly equipped with all new appliances including a state-of-the-art oven, microwave, dishwasher, and everything else you’d expect or need from your home-away-from-home kitchen.

A stairway leads up to the upper level, and along the stairway books line the wall from the lower level all the way to the ceiling. As you walk upstairs, the view gets better and better. This is where the king size bed is, with a lovely Barbizon painting over the head of the bed. The panorama is spectacular, with a clear view of the Eiffel Tower. The modern bathroom, adjacent to the bedroom, has been renovated with an Italian-style shower, two sinks, towel warmer, and a separate WC,closed off by a sliding door.

There are so many wonderful aspects both to this apartment and to its optimal location. There is even a communal balcony on the rooftop offering a catch-your-breath view of the entire city.

The neighborhood is elegant, the location convenient—in just minutes you can be at the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, or a bit further, the Bois de Boulogne. Trocadero is just up the street; a fabulous open air-market comes to nearby Place d’Iena twice a week; several museums are in short walking distance. The magic of this place is that there are several metro stops, buses and even a batobus, a water taxi, nearby, making for easy access to anywhere in Paris you want to visit. There’s even a direct bus to either airport.

Cancellation Policy

  • 28 days notice is required to cancel your booking prior to arrival.
  • This is for all lengths of stay in order to avoid charges.
  • For guest in house 14 days notice is required to shorten or extend their stay/booking.
  • Example: If a guest is checking in on the 17th September then gives notice on the 9th September, then 9 days notice has been given and a charge for 19 nights will be applied.
  • All cancellations or extension requests must be made in writing via email.
  • Group Bookings cancellation policy may vary.
