Charlottenburg Shopping

Europa-Center:

The Europa-Center is one of Berlin’s landmark shopping centres, and has evolved to maintain its appeal in modern times. With beautiful interiors and an excellent range of shopping and food outlets, the Europa-Center is the perfect place to spend some free time. Although the fashion retail outlets are not as modern as other, newer shopping centres in Charlottenburg, there is still plenty to explore. Outside the shopping centre, visitors will find the World Fountain.

Potsdamer Platz Arkaden:

One of the larger and more modern shopping areas near Charlottenburg, the Potsdamer Platz Arkaden is an incredibly popular shopping destination. The shopping centre features unique and striking architecture, as well as an excellent range of modern fashion retail outlets. The food court upstairs is the perfect place to pause for some food and a coffee during your shopping trip.

Kaufhaus des Westens:

Known by the locals as KaDeWe, the Kaufhaus des Westens is one of the top shopping destinations in Berlin. This luxury department store is a European icon, and is also the second largest department store in Europe (just behind Harrods in London). With an excellent range of luxury fashion, food, gifts and more, it is no surprise that the department store attracts approximately 50,000 visitors each day.

Strasse des 17 Juni Flea Market:

For something a little different, why not visit a classic European flea market during your stay in Berlin? With a huge range of exciting, interesting and unusual items for sale, the flea market is the perfect place to explore on a sunny afternoon. Located close to the Tiergarten S Bahn, the market is easy to reach on public transport, and with fewer crowds than other markets in Berlin, it has a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
