SUMMER CONCERT : OPERA AL FRESCO (Tuesday 2 August 2016)

Enjoy free Opera Concert with your friends and family at Canada Square Park where renowned opera stars Mary Bevan, Madeleine Shaw and Nicky Spence perform some of the greatest arias from the world famous operas. Pack for a picnic and show up early to enjoy Opera Tailgate in the beautiful Park.

Shiver Me Timbers (3 August 2016 to 31 August)

Attend this event to learn all about the life of a pirate! Get ready for a whirlwind journey of discovering about life on the high seas. Attend this event with kids who would love to get involved in the fun activities through this exciting show. If you’re spending the day at the museum, you can enjoy different theme based events each week. Also, there will be various exhibitions and workshops for the family to learn and enjoy together.

Hello London, Hello Barbados Free (13 August to 14 August)

Get ready for a colourful Caribbean carnival on the docks! Join the celebration that marks the golden anniversary for Barbados, taking inspiration from the Bajan festival Crop Over (celebrating the end of the local sugarcane harvest). Enjoy a wide array of Caribbean cultural performances and traditional workshops that include music, dance, crafts and storytelling. You can also enjoy a temporary exhibition that represents what Barbados is today. The entire carnival offers something for the entire family to enjoy!

BOYD AND EVANS: BIG LANDSCAPES (Monday 18 July - Friday 2 September)

An outstanding exhibition, where you can witness paintings that combines surreal photographs with narrative content. These paintings are immaculately painted by famous artists Fionnuala Boyd and Leslie Evans. They have been working together since 1968 when they were students. This exhibition at Canary Wharf marks Boyd and Evans’ first installation of a monumental composition collection.

THIRD SPACE FITNESS FESTIVAL (Monday 6 June - Wednesday 31 August)

Enjoy Third Space Fitness Festival and take part in complimentary fitness classes throughout the summer. The outdoor classes for the guests is set in the fabulous Crossrail Place Roof Gardens, Montgomery Square and Sunny Jubilee Park.
