The area of the old freight yard called Güterbahnhof, located north of Freiburg city center, has blossomed into a modern and very popular urban quarter. This city quarter and the adjoining residential areas have a central location and good infrastructure. Restaurants, cafés, ice cream parlors, bakers, supermarkets, weekly markets, daycare centers, schools as well as tram connections can be found here within walking distance. From the tram station Komturstraße the tram ride to the city center takes exactly 15 minutes and to the main train station just 10 minutes.

Black F stands for "Black Forest House" and offers fully furnished, high quality apartments at Güterbahnhof Freiburg. They consist of 138 studios and suites in 5 main apartment types: XS, S, M, L and XL. The lobby serves as a reception, meeting place and extended living room. With it comes a snack bar, TV, community table, cozy lounge zones and even a fireplace. Here you can work, exchange ideas or simply relax.
Each guest is personally received and warmly welcomed by our youthful and open-minded team. At the same time there is also the possibility to use the contactless digital check-in & check-out. This is fast, totally uncomplicated: each guest receives his personal access code via email prior arrival and can check themselves in at the check-in kiosk. At the end of the stay the key can be deposited in the check-out postbox and the invoice is sent via email.

Cancellation Policy
For bookings between 2-7 nights:
Cancellation per apartment until 6PM on the day of arrival is free of charge. All cancellations or extension requests must be made in writing via email. Group Bookings cancellation policy may vary.
For bookings between 8-27 nights:
Cancellation per apartment up to 7 days before arrival is free of charge. All cancellations or extension requests must be made in writing via email. Group Bookings cancellation policy may vary.
For bookings from 28 nights:
Cancellation per apartment up to 14 days before arrival is free of charge. All cancellations or extension requests must be made in writing via email. Group Bookings cancellation policy may vary.
