Ariberto

Description

Savor the vintage glamour of Milan in the Ariberto, a chic 2-bedroom vacation apartment in the artsy Navigli neighborhood. Medieval churches and city parks are all around you, not to mention one of the city’s prettiest sunsets. Check out the Roman ruins of the Archeological Park (5 min. walk) or the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology (7 min). Shop at the many antique shops, record stores, and flea markets all around you, then stop at one of the area’s many aperitivo bars for a classic Italian refresher. A bus stop and a light rail station are right outside.

Inspired by the historic building, our local designer has created a funky vintage vibe. Two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a bathtub will make you feel at home. Best of all -- the French doors in the living room lead out to a spacious outdoor terrace. Premium amenities include a Nespresso machine, free WiFi, cable TV, high-end toiletries, and hotel beds and linens.

Perfect for a family or group of friends, this apartment is sure to please travelers with an eye for style.

Area info

Swoon your way through the artsy Navigli district, one of the most unique and romantic areas in Milan. A few blocks southwest of the city’s historic center, the neighborhood is named for the navigli, canals that were once used as an alternative and efficient mode of transportation for both goods and people. Today, gondolas no longer float on the streets of the Navigli; instead, you’ll see couples strolling hand in hand between the area’s many charming cafes, restaurants, and aperitivo bars. Art is the highlight of this lovely neighborhood; hole-in-the-wall galleries and funky studios dot the streets, and Milan’s New Academy of Fine Arts attracts creative students from around the country. If you’re looking for a more established art scene, the area boasts several highly-regarded museums, including the Museo Diocesano, a collection of rare religious artwork and illumination from the Middle Ages. After you’ve had your fill of looking at pretty things, try some on -- this neighborhood is Milan’s hot spot for vintage clothing, with a huge outdoor market and plenty of boutiques.
