We had an enjoyable 1-month stay at Higashi Shinagawa. The apartment is very small by Western standards (236 sqft), but we still found it to be comfortable. We appreciated the separate toilet room & shower room & the balcony was a nice touch (though there's not furniture outside to sit on). We were able to cook meals in the kitchen with the provided cookware, and the welcome bag of toiletries was helpful on our first night. There's a bus stop on the same block that gets you to Shinagawa Station.
