Meet Our New Senior Sales Manager for the Americas: Tracy Barbosa

We’re always hiring the brightest minds in the industry to take our company to the next level. From property acquisitions, marketing, business development and more, we’re always putting the best individuals into our departments to make them grow.

And we’ve done the same again by hiring Tracy Barbosa as our new Senior Sales Manager for the Americas. Starting this month, Tracy will be promoting our brand in New York, as well as being the face for bookings in the Americas. As New York is one of our biggest markets, we need someone with drive, ambition and vision who can take us to the next level, and we’re proud to say that Tracy more than fits the criteria.

What’s her role?

Her goal is to sell our brand within the NYC market and help create that "buzz". She is also responsible for generating new business to meet revenue goals, and to make us the top provider of serviced accommodation in New York. She will also be specialising in various verticals to meet these the target expectations such as United Nations, film & entertainment, medical and technology just to name a few.

Background

Tracy has been in the serviced apartment industry for over 10 years, and enjoys helping her clients find their "home away from home". In the past, she has been enormously successful in building brands within the NYC market, further demonstrating her passion for finding new business as well as maintaining and growing long term relationships.

What’s Next?

Given the importance of the NYC market to TheSqua.re, we’re hoping to see big results from Tracy, with bookings for apartments near the United Nations Headquarters being one of her first big tasks. Beyond that, we hope to see a huge increase in film and entertainment bookings, as well as in the medical and technology sectors.

Sid Narang, our CEO, is also excited to see what Tracy can do:

The United Nations is also a big highlight; hoping to get bookings by the time the General Assembly opens for the 74th session on September 17th.
