Hello! I am visiting Amsterdam for a day from Berlin. Any heads up on places I should visit in a day?

Have you heard of the Amsterdam Canal Cruises? It is an hour long cruise along the canal ring of the city covering all the landmarks and historical icons of Amsterdam. The cruise is on the Amstel river and gives you a chance to explore hundreds of years of the city’s rich history. The cruise will take you to some of the most popular tourist spots. The sites are:
The 17th century Westerkerk Church. It is more prominently known as the final resting place of the Dutch painter Rembrandt Van Rijn. Negen Straatjes or the 9 Streets is the lively side of the city with boutiques, kiosks and cafes. It is the place to grab a quick bite while taking a leisurely stroll. The ADAM Tower and Magere Brug-the Skinny Bridge are the other sites that form part of the cruise. The Hundred Highlights tour is good option to pick up for a cruise and you can easily fit it in in your day long tour.

A day’s itinerary is not a bad idea to get the best experience in Amsterdam. You can experience the city on a bus too if you wish. A one day tour can be summed up with a bus ride and there’s even an option of a ‘on and off the bus’ tour which lets you travel by bus as well as cruise on the canal to explore the city. Anne Frank House is a well-preserved museum that depicts the life during the WWII from the eyes of a 15 year old girl-Anne Frank. It is a treasured icon of Amsterdam.
