Does anyone have any update and info on the most affordable areas to live in Hong Kong?

Hong Kong is filled with areas that have cheap rent and good accommodation. All you need to do is keep your eyes and ears open here. I’ll tell you about some of the places I prefer to stay when I am in Hong Kong. I have stayed at most of these places hence, you can be convinced that these are good and should make sense to you.
My top picks are: Kennedy Town, Sheung Wan, South Lantau, Tseung Kwan, Lam Tin, and Tai Wai.

Cheap rentals are available all throughout Hong Kong. Jardine’s Lookout, Kowloon, Midlevels, Repulse Bay and Stanley would prove useful for you.

Where do you want to stay in Hong Kong? Which zone ? If you wish to stay in the Central zone Aberdeen, Soho and Central Business District are best. Lau Fau Shan, Lam Tei, Lok Ma Chau, Kwan Tei are all best for North of Hong Kong. In case you wish to stay somewhere in Hong Kong island try Chai Wan, Lam Tin, Kowloon, and Kwai Chung.
