Best place to watch the Columbus Day Parade in New York? | thesqua.re

Hi everyone, I will be visiting New York in the first week of October, just in time for the annual Columbus Day Parade. I wanted some recommendations for where to best view the parade? Are there particular spots that give better access to the parade, hopefully up close?

Dear Marc, Thank you for using our Forum. You don't need to get there at the crack of dawn. It starts around 11 am at 44th st. & 5th ave. and goes up 5th to 86 st. You can see the parade from the steps of the Metropolitan museum which is near the end of the route. It is the best place to watch the Columbus Day Parade. Reagrds Saurabh
