Oh yes! Why not? You don’t even need to go anywhere out of London. Being a historic city, it has ample of castles that you can visit with your kids and friends. The Dover Castle, in Kent, is a good option. It is the largest one in entire England. Warwick Castle, in Warwickshire, has a remarkable history and many tales associated with it. Highclere Castle of Hampshire is famous for its expansive gardens and woodlands. Arundel Castle, in West Sussex, is a great feast for the eyes. It rests on top of a hill and is surrounded by a moat.

The Leeds Castle is a great place for a family outing, there are gardens around the castle, a maze and the underground grotto is really fun for kids. The 13th century Hever Castle is located in Kent and has some of the most spectacular scenery that you can enjoy with family for a picnic or just a day out. The Kew palace is one of the best examples of Georgian legacy. It is also one of the smallest palaces of London and has very beautiful gardens that you can enjoy. The famous Windsor Castle is home to the royals and is a window to the rich history of Britain. The lavish interiors and the history associated with the castle are every bit visit worthy. The Queen’s Drawing room, the Waterloo Chamber, the Semi State Rooms, and the Windsor gardens are worth seeing. The same charm holds for the Buckingham Palace.
