This beautiful 19th century château and its cottage, 5 minutes from Beaune and in the heart of the Burgundy vineyards, is perfect for your holidays with family and friends, and those special occasions. It is a perfect base from which to visit Beaune and its region, discover the vineyards and wine cellars, go cycling, hot air ballooning or simply relax by the swimming pool in the tranquillity of the park. The château was originally the home of the very first wine family in Burgundy, the Champy family.
The owner of this lovely chateau is extremly passionate about architecture, history and renovations, and has spent 10 years lovingly restoring the château, while respecting its original character. Today, the château retains all the charm and authenticity of the 19th century, combined with all the necessary modern creature comforts.Nestled in a 15 acre park, it’s an exceptional place, perfect for those special occasions: holidays, receptions, weddings, meetings and seminars.
The house is built of local stone and set in a beautiful, lavender filled garden. Despite its rustic appearance and stunning setting, this is a house of contrasts, immaculately decorated and finished with Christian Liagre furniture and African and Asian sculptures. For those who don’t (or can’t!) leave the technology behind, there is a newly completed TV room/Library with a 75” plasma TV, surround sound system, Sky, Apple TV, Netflix and other toys including a Wii console, DVD player and an iMac, iPad and printer.
The owners have this year installed a new contemporary-Provence kitchen which is equpped with three ovens (including a full size steam oven), a wine fridge, an American fridge, two extra large fridge drawers plus a professional ice making machine, two dishwashers, seating area for 6 people and three bar chairs for informal kitchen breakfasts or snacks. In addition, the beautiful “Kasbah-style” double bedroom on the first floor is a new addition bringing the total number the villa sleeps up to fourteen comfortably. There is also a new massage/spa pavilion built next to the yoga pavilion allowing for peaceful treatments with views over the garden and down to the coast.
Perfect for family, groups of friends or children, the accommodation is quite beautifully presented and very well arranged. Nobody could ever complain of being bored in this house. Outside there is a wonderful pool house with gym area plus sauna, steam room and a yoga pavilion. Next to the boules pitch is a well-equipped snooker pavilion featuring a 7’ table with lights over and rattan chairs for those long evenings! An outdoor fire is a must for cooler evenings and there is even a children’s playground with swings. Beautifully lit terraces are perfect for al-fresco dining and a covered sun deck with a huge mattress overlooking the pool looks out across the valley to St. Paul and down towards the sea.
This is a house to cater for everyone’s tastes. However, if you can drag yourself away, all the attractions and lights of Cannes, Nice and Antibes are an easy thirty minute drive away.
A 2 minute drive brings you to this historic, hill top village with its galleries, restaurants and famous Colombe D’Or Hotel (Sunday brunch a must!). Cannes, Nice and Antibes are an easy drive away where you can enjoy the full glamorous theatre of the Riviera and then retreat back up to your little bit of paradise .

Cancellation Policy
- 28 days notice is required to cancel your booking prior to arrival.
- This is for all lengths of stay in order to avoid charges.
- For guest in house 14 days notice is required to shorten or extend their stay/booking.
- Example: If a guest is checking in on the 17th September then gives notice on the 9th September, then 9 days notice has been given and a charge for 19 nights will be applied.
- All cancellations or extension requests must be made in writing via email.
