Centre Pompidou

Centre Pompidou is a complex building situated in the Beaubourg area of the 4th arrondissement of Paris close to rue Montorgueil and Les Halles. Centre Pompidou was designed by the architectural team of Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers and Gianfranco Franchini. The attraction was named after the French president Georges Pompidou. With green water pipes, blue air ducts, yellow electrics and red escalators, Centre Pompidou is quite an attraction. You can also see and appreciate art from 20th century to present times.

Maison De Victor Hugo

This is a museum committed to the author of Les Misérables, Victor Hugo. You can see a tall desk next to the short bed where he started writing his masterwork Les Miz. There are early editions and manuscripts of some novels alongside furniture pieces from his homes, and you can see illustrations of Hugo’s writings by other artists. You will be amazed to see the room of wooden panels that Hugo designed for his mistress.

Musée Picasso

Situated in the HôtelSalé in the Marais district of Paris, the Musée Picasso is a famous art gallery dedicated to the work of sculptor, painter, ceramicist and poet Pablo Picasso.

Place des Vosges

The oldest planned square in Paris, Place des Vosges is situated in the Marais district. The closest metro stations to the square are Bastille, Saint-Paul and Chemin Vert.
