Right next to the serene waters of Canal Saint-Martin, in the vibrant cultural epicentre of the 10th arrondissement, sits this two-bedroom loft-style apartment. Boasting soaring ceilings, a giant open-plan living space and a torrent of natural light from the impossibly large windows, experience the awe as soon as you walk into this fabulous home.
LIVING &amp; DINING AREA Feel enveloped in the wide-open space as it unfolds in front of you. The immediate standout is the double-height ceiling and the corresponding windows, both soaring high and making the room seem positively vast. The enormous windows throw light into every corner of the room, illuminating everything from the large grey sofa and two cream armchairs to the suspended fireplace and chic extendable coffee table. Next to the windows sits an especially long dining table: an expansive timber surface with room for eight guests to comfortably sit, dine and chat.
KITCHEN Nearby, the open-plan space transitions to the kitchen – L-shaped, modern and sleek. The countertop is adorned in lovely white stone, the cabinetry in contrasting hues of white and dark timber, creating a masterfully refined aesthetic. A small glass breakfast table sits adjacent, with an inset cushioned bench offering comfort beside it.
BEDROOMS Climb the stairs next to the dining table to reach the mezzanine level, which feels less like a mezzanine and more like a self-contained second storey. Walk past another small sitting area and reach the principal bedroom: exposed timber beams crisscross the room and form a frame around the king-sized bed, evoking a rustic atmosphere. With light pouring in from the big living room windows, it’s also incredibly bright in here. The second bedroom is almost as big and airy, its plush double bed sitting under a lone exposed beam in the light of the nearby window.
BATHROOM The two bedrooms share a particularly large and modern en-suite bathroom. Stainless steel is the material of choice for the wash basins and toilet, making for a futuristic aesthetic among the neutral-coloured walls. A spacious walk-in shower is also in evidence here, while a separate WC can be found on the ground floor.
WE LOVE The giant windows, stretching all the way up to the sky-high ceilings, offering ample natural light and a stunning view of the greenery in the courtyard outside.

No smoking, pets or parties. There are ongoing renovation works in the courtyard next to this home, so please be aware there may be some noise intrusion. This is due to end in March 2025, with the bulk of the noisy works completing by the end of the year (2024). Please note, the kitchen does not have a microwave or toaster. The apartment also does not have a TV or an iron (there is a steamer instead). Please note, the second bedroom’s window is narrow offering limited natural light, and cannot be opened.
