Facts About Fenway
Fenway, also known as Fenway- Kenmore is a neighborhood that has seen the most development in Boston over the past few decades. The neighborhood was formed in the 1870s. In the beginning, the area was developing as a high-class neighborhood for wealthy people. By 1907, more than twenty educational institutions, colleges, and universities made their home to Fenway, and the area started getting dominated with students.
In 1911 John I. Taylor, Red Sox owner, was looking for a new location, and later that year his father bought a land that is more than 365,000 square feet in this Boston neighborhood. And, thus the historical Fenway Park construction started. The first game played in Fenway Park was on April 12, 1912.

The spring and fall season is the best to explore the city as it is less crowded than the popular summer months and the weather is moderate.
