0Hey Terry, I had good experiace at Titan Fitness Centre. They have a very helpful staff and the place is well-equipped too, wide range of free weights and machines. It's difficult to find, though, I walked just passed it and didn't even notice!
East London is a vibrant hub and there is no dearth of great gyms in the area. Some of the best gyms in East London include:
Gymbox: this is a fantastic gym chain that started as a makeshift gym in a carpark in Holborn in 2003. What makes them different is their range of fantastic classes including Death Row and Flatline, considered the most difficult class in the world.
Fitness First: Located in Leytonstone is one of the biggest of the gym chain and a great place to workout. They have rooms for classes, tons of cardio machines and their weights section is great as well.
BLOK London: a trendy gym located in Shoreditch that is seriously trendy, and is essentially a class-based gym that allows people to attend workouts on a pay-as-you-go basis. Some of their popular classes are BlokFit, boxing, HIIT and Animal Flow.
The Refinery: this popular East London gym offers bright studios to work in and offers yoga classes, pilates, barre and miscellaneous fitness classes.
