If you wish to explore further afield, The Mousehole is also close to Bournemouth, the Isle of Purbeck and the New Forest National Park. Ashley Cross offers great transport links for cars and also offers regular bus services and a train station at Parkstone.

The space

The Mousehole is a beautifully styled one bedroom lower ground floor apartment. This apartment offers an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with a very slouch worthy sofa for when you’re ready to put your feet up with a book and a cup of coffee.
There is a private outdoor space for dining or to relax and enjoy the fresh air via the French doors from the Lounge area.

To the rear of this apartment you will find a private parking space for 1 car.

The bedroom
After a day out exploring Poole, you can retire to a modern yet cosy bedroom offering a king size bed, feature fireplace and flat screen TV.

The kitchen and lounge
The Mousehole offers a spacious open plan kitchen and lounge area, providing a sociable feel to the space. The breakfast bar provides an informal and fun atmosphere for dining. There is a sofa and large flat screen TV in the lounge area perfect for chilling out after dinner. The sofa can be used as a sofa bed on request.

Please be aware that this property is not suitable for individuals over 6ft 2" due to limited head space.

Other things to note

Mousehole is steeped in history - this part of the building was previously the bar area for the famous Michelin star Isabels Restaurant.

The property has a lot of character and has plenty of floor space however it is worth mentioning that the property does have limited head space and as such we recommend you do not book if you are taller than 6’2” or 188cm. Door sills are somewhat lower than this and you may need to bend to go through. Please bare this in mind when considering to stay in this property as we can accept no responsibility for any injuries caused.

If you are keen on the area/building, please do get in touch as we have two other properties available in the same block that do not have height restrictions - Central Park Suite and Le Chambre d'Isabel.

PLEASE NOTE: The garden to the rear of the property is still undergoing work and is not ready yet for guests to use.

The minimum age required for the lead guest is 21. Please note that if you are below the age minimum your booking will be cancelled.
