When in Limehouse, you must visit the Jubilee Place Mall. An underground shopping mall, this one is situated on the south side of Canary Wharf. The mall is home to an extensive range of fashion, cafes and restaurants. Check out Banana Republic for fashion and The White Company for homewares.

Another very interesting market in Limehouse is Billingsgate Market. A place for wine, coal, iron, fish and other goods, Billingsgate is the only London-based market that is committed to fish. From as early as sixteenth century to the mid-nineteenth century, seafood was sold at Billingsgate.

The market is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5 to 8.30. Although aimed at wholesalers, the market is worth a visit for everyone. The sight of the market itself is amazing.
