2 bedroom apartment in Midtown East 53rd Street

Very good, 4.0 from 2 reviews

Midtown East , New York

A gorgeous apartment very recently completely renovated. The changes to this apartment have resulted in an incredibly smart use of space, 2 bedrooms and intuitive design. The immaculate finish, delightful wooden flooring and smart introduction of colour through few choice furnishings create a luxurious, comfortable and playful space.

Enter straight into the cool but cosy living room with a wide pouf and wider TV perfect for slouchy evenings. To the right you’ll find the grown-up kitchen and breakfast room with a glass dining table for four guests. The wood, chrome and slate suite makes this kitchen an attractive and modern space and the large window fills the room with light for breakfast.

The first bedroom is a great size with two windows and matching lamps either side of the double bed. You could get through a few chapters on the quirky chaise-lounge. The second bedroom has another double bed and a very useful over-sized full-height mirror.

The brand new bathroom suite is crisp and bright, a lovely room.

Midtown Manhattan is an iconic district and Hollywood star. In fact, many of Midtowns most memorable features are so prominent on the silver screen that in visiting them for the first time you’re likely to feel in the company of old friends.

In the 1920’s the race was on to become the tallest building in the world. By 1930 the completion of the stunning Chrysler Building whose sparkling crown and automotive gargoyles exemplify the Machine Age, stole the title. 11 months later, at 443 metres in height the Empire State Building stole the accolade and held on to it for the next 40 years and whose observation deck today offers stunning views of the whole of Manhattan.

Three weeks after Times Square’s very own Subway Station opened in April 1904, the first electrified advertisement appeared. In the 20’s the buzz of bulbs lit the square and for a moment this place felt like the top of the world. Today, though bulbs have largely been replaced with HD screens; Times Square is a sight to behold.

Could not have been a better stay - the room was lovely, clean and spacious. The people were friendly, helpful and fun. The hood is groovy, interesting and close to so many things. Will certainly stay there again.

Our two-bedroom apartment in midtown east was very cool and the location, apt! We were happy with the services we got and enjoyed staying in this apartment like a New Yorker. But I must say if little attention would have been given to the maintenance of the flat, it would have been great.
