Bondi Junction is one of Sydney’s major shopping hotspots, with both Westfield Bondi Junction and Eastgate Bondi Junction Shopping Centre providing hundreds of famous retailers, from global fashions to the latest electronic goods. Most of the standalone shops, including Apple Bondi and Body & Bone are centralised around Bronte Road and Hollywood Avenue, making it easy for shoppers to get everything they need without travelling too far.
Bondi is of course famous for one thing in particular - the beach. Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk is a popular way to see the best parts of it, whilst Sam Fiszman Park is also a particularly stunning area. Bondi Junction is also a great place from which to explore Sydney Harbour, with numerous tour providers in the vicinity. Alternatively, Centennial Park is in the district and offers a cinema, relaxing gardens and examples of Aboriginal artwork. There’s also the parade grounds, which often have events taking place.

Light rail lines, airport links, sightseeing buses and taxi services complement the network.The Opal card is the cty’s contactless payment system, offering reduced fares across multiple journeys. Sydney Buses travel through the city and beyond almost 24 hours a day, whilst most internal train routes run until 4am. Alternatively, taxis and private hire firms are a convenient way of making short journeys, though these can be expensive compared to public transport.
