Sir James Mitchell Park and Perth Zoo are both good choices for those visiting with family, whilst Point Belches is a popular location for its stunning views of the city, with plenty of cafes and bars. The Old Mill is also a popular tourist attraction, giving an insight into the history and development of the area before mass urbanisation.
South Perth offers great public transport services, comprising of bus, rail and trams, which connect the peninsular to the wider urban area as well as to other regions on the west coast. The SmartRider cards allows holders to access fare reductions as well as free rail services where applicable. The city is also vehicle friendly compared with ay large urban areas, so renting a car is also a viable option.
Perth is Western Australia’s largest city and therefore home to numerous organisations and businesses. The city’s function as the economic hub has created development opportunities for many other businesses oriented to local or more diversified markets, with industry playing a big role.
